The Integrated Positive Youth Development (IPYD)

Our IPYD programs are designed to benefit Liberian' youth and young adults (ages: 10 -24) and other youth in disadvantaged communities of color and low-income individuals. The IPYD is a combination of different programs uniquely put together to address many challenges in our community. There are four (4) parts to the IPYD programs:
- The Recreational Activities,
- The Evidence Based 5Cs,
- Afterschool Program, and
- The Youth and Young Adult Mentorship    known as YtoY Membership Program.

Programs and Objectives

The 1st Part of Our IPYD Focuses on Recreational Activities

Kids Soccer,
Young Adults Soccer,
Girls Kickball and Soccer

Keep youth and adult engaged at least once per month:

• To improve their physical, mental,
   health, and general wellbeing
• Good grades in school; promote social
  and emotional development
• Help avoid experimentation with drugs,
  alcohol, cigarettes/illegal activities

The 3rd Part of Our IPYD Focuses on Afterschool Program

The 4th Part of Our IPYD Focuses on Youth and Young Adult Mentorship known as YtoY Mentorship Program

• The YtoY program allows youth and young adult with good conduct and clean record to serve as a mentor for their peers who having some challenges and need support overcoming them.

• The YtoY program allows one mentor to have 2-3 mentees.

• Mentors work on small weekly goals with their mentees to support them make progress in their areas of challenge.
